Once again, we vacationed at the wonderful Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya, Mexico. This time, we took our niece and nephew along, too. It was great fun! Everything about the Azul Sensatori is incredible. I just can’t recommend it enough. However, rather than do another trip report on how great the Azul Sensatori was, I’m going to compare the Luxury rooms with the Premium rooms. We’ve stayed on both sides and have has each experience. Hopefully this will be helpful!
The Azul Sensatori describes the Premium section as “upgraded amenities and services, including pre-arrival concierge services, champagne, flowers and fruit basket in room on arrival, pillow menu, private area concierge and aromatherapy menu, rooms with ocean or pool views.” It is so much more than this! Here is what I discovered:
*The Premium side of the resort has far less children.
*The Premium side of the resort has fewer guests in general because the building is smaller.
*The Premium side of the resort has nice, comfy pool lounges with cloth covered cushions and extra towels rolled into pillows.
*The Premium side of the resort has a much more extensive pool butler service that bring around snacks, bottled water, reading materials, etc.
*The Premium side of the resort does not use towel cards.
*The Premium side of the resort has swim ups with indoor AND outdoor Jacuzzis.
*The Premium side of the resort has its own private pool.
*The Premium side of the resort has complimentary wifi in the guest rooms.
*The Premium side of the resort has room amenity menus for aroma and pillows.
*The Premium side of the resort has a more extensive room service menu.
*The Luxury side of the resort has connecting rooms.
*The Luxury side of the resort is located close to the kid’s club and teen club and lobby areas.
So is the Premium side worth it? Absolutely. Will you be devastated if you don’t stay in a Premium room? Probably not. It certainly is a nice luxury, though!
